Everything You Need To Know

How It Works?

Generally, our clients come to us with a reservation or inquiry made at any of our beautiful local Rv Parks from the south end of Penticton, Kaleden, OK falls, Gallagher Lake, Oliver, or Osoyoos. The campsite should have full hook-ups WATER, SEWER, 30AMP POWER (with only 15AMP Power- AC units may trip breakers). If campsite does not have a sewer connection a dumping fee is required. Also at this time please confirm with Rv Park that your site location will fit our trailer.  Once the reservation is finalized at Rv park we proceed with booking holiday trailer reservation. At time of reservation we require a $400 deposit to make reservation/ cover accidental damages/ and ensure cleanliness at time of return. This deposit is entirely separate from rental fee and is fully refundable when the rental unit is returned in the same state it was delivered.

All of our trailers are priced as one week rentals which are priced according to size, year, and demand. There is a four night minimum rental, but any reservation shorter than seven nights is subject to a one time $75 dollar short-term fee. The entire rental fee is to be paid 30 days prior to the day of rental. Note, for any reservation we make at R&Rv, we reserve the right to substitute trailer for another in our fleet if emergency circumstances arise, although we hold our customer service above all else, so a discussion will be had towards an alternate agreement if this should arise.

Payment Options

For damage deposits, we prefer eTransfer but do accept Visa/MasterCard and will require this payment at the time of reservation. 

Rental Fee is required in full 30 days prior to day of check-in and once again we prefer eTransfer but Cash/Visa/MasterCard are all acceptable, but sorry no cheques. 

For eTransfers a system is in place to ensure proper payment and will be discussed when decided upon.

Whats Included

-Delivery and set up of trailer to the site of your choice
-Clean fully functioning trailer
-Removal of the unit after vacation
-4 Rolls of single ply toilet paper
-4 Camping Chairs
-Outdoor floor mat
-Fully equipped kitchenette with pots, pans, dishes, cutlery, coffee machine, tea kettle etc. 
-Cleaning supplies

Delivery & Check-Out Date

4PM is our check in time - Earlier check ins are possible if agreed upon by both lessor and renter.

We attempt to make our delivery of our units as early in the day as logistically possible on your booking date. To ensure clients are fully satisfied with delivery and under complete understanding, we state if your unit is not on site and entirely hooked up by 5 pm you will be reimbursed $50.

Our Check-out time is one hour before campground check out to ensure we can honor campground rules. 

Pet Policy

We at R&Rv Holiday Trailer Rentals are pet friendly. But we ask you to notify us when you are bringing your furry friends. A non refundable $25 will apply per pet. 


Although we are pet-friendly, please confirm with your campsite that you are in a pet-friendly area as well. We will not be held responsible for obtaining this information.

No-Smoking Policy

Absolutely no smoking or vaping of any kind inside the units.

Other Considerations

-Please abide by all campsite rules
-Please do not move the rental unit. If there is a necessity to relocate or re-level we will schedule to do so asap
-Please remove footwear when entering.
-If the rental is not cleaned to your standards at the time of arrival please inform R&Rv immediately
-Please do not use propane for personal barbecues or other non-trailer uses
-Please clean dishes, utensils, pots, pans, stove, fridge and microwave before vacating

Cancellation Policy

At R&Rv, we know that life can get complicated and things come up.  However our RVs rent by advance reservation only, and we incur costs from cancellations. As a result, we must charge a fee for cancellations.

There is a 72-hour grace period from the time of booking.

Cancellations made after this 72-hour grace period will incur a $100 fee.

Cancellations made after the grace period but more than ninety (90) days prior to the reservation date will

incur a $100 fee.

Cancellations made up to sixty (60) days prior to the reservation date will

incur a $200 fee.

Cancellations made up to thirty (30) days prior to the reservation date will

forfeit entire $400 deposit.

Cancellations made after thirty (30) days prior to reservation date will lose entire rental price and only the 400 deposit will be returned.

Please note the following:

-Late arrival or early departure does not warrant any refund of rent

-Once your dates have been booked, you cannot alter or change the select dates. For example, if you have a 2 week booking, you cannot cancel one week without the loss of the full reservation deposit

-Forest fires and smoke caused by forest fires are a risk of holidaying in the southern Okanagan and unfortunately do not warrant a full refund of deposit unless there is an active evacuation order. If a decision is made to cancel during the month prior to the holiday due to air quality (not active evacuation) half of the rental cost will be withheld, entire deposit will be refunded, and a 15% discount will be applied to following season rental.  

-R&RV has the right to refuse rental if original agreement is partially cancelled or altered by the renter  

We do make every effort to be considerate of our guests’ emergency situations, and if we are able to book a replacement rental, we will refund the payment, less our costs, to the original guest.

Our Fees Simplified

-All rentals are subject to 5%GST & 7%PST 
-Rentals less than one week are subject to a $75 short-term fee
-If the campsite is not connected to sewer $75 each time emptying is required, as well as after rental. We always suggest full hook-up 
-$50 reimbursement if rental is not delivered and fully operational by 5 pm on booking date
-$400 Reservation/Damage Deposit fee which is returned after contract termination
Void if evidence of smoking in unit
Void if full shampooing is required for carpets as a result of wearing dirty shoes in unit
-$200 if pet is agreed upon and large amount of animal hair are found after checkout
-$75/hour late check out fee with minimum one hour rate
-Minimum $200 for time spent cleaning excessively dirty returns
-Damage costs for repair/ replacement/ as well as labour to fix at rate $50/hour
